Comment: The way the cargo door is supposed to work.
Aft door may be confused with front door. Nine feet wide and eight feet
tall, now that's a big hole before the door opens, tears off and takes another
six feet by nine feet of skin with it. Power is cut to the door opening
system when airborne to prevent inflight activation by a safety relay. Electrical
ways and mechanical ways to open door, eight latches and cams, hinges, midspan
latches, inward door stops, and pull in hooks; a complex system in a hostile
environment operated by lower ranking maintenance persons. 3 Nov 97
